Reine Mer Theatre Company is located in Rochefort, west coast of France. It was created in 2020.
The Company is committed to an approach that aims to speak about all sorts of inequalities, diversity, and freedom by trying to give voice to all, without forgetting the ghosts of society, the forgotten, or those who forget themselves.The stage becomes a means to put into question society’s standards, create new connections and try to come up with a new language: give birth to the beauty from the chaos, disrupt to put things back in order.
Lucas Rastoll, its artistic director, wishes to propose some singular, emerging, and hybrid projects highlighting writings, new media, and local and foreign artists.
At the same time, the company is settled in a process of transmission to the audience, kids, teenagers, and professionals by offering masterclasses and workshops about mask theatre, clown, and physical theatre.
